iNFOiSLIVE Brings Japanese and Korean Contents to the GSM World

The Hong Kong based leading wireless application developer, iNFOiSLIVE Corporation Limited, joins hands with DML Inc. from Japan and Web Eng Korea Co. Ltd. (WEK) from South Korea to bring popular Japanese and Korean mobile contents to the GSM world.

Ms Julie Cheng, VP, Business Development at iNFOiSLIVE points out that strategic partnership is very important in mobile market nowadays especially with the growing popularity of Japanese and Korean contents. “We see a valuable proposition of iNFOiSLIVE to form partnership with our Japanese and Korean counterparts. With iNFOiSLIVE’s GSM technical expertise, the partnership first breaks down the technology barrier in bringing Japanese and Korean mobile contents to GSM World despite the technology differences. Secondly, leveraging iNFOiSLIVE’s good and wide network with mobile operators in Asia-Pacific and extensive experience with mobile entertainment contents, the mobile contents can be well introduced to overseas markets.” said Julie.

Both DML and WEK are leading mobile Internet content developers in Japan and South Korea respectively. DML owns a series of popular mobile Internet contents including contents from Japanese renowned publisher, Shueisha. In partnership with iNFOiSLIVE, DML’s president, Mr. Masanori Kinomiya said, “Many Japanese companies want to expand their business overseas, but they can’t find the right and trustworthy partner. I believe we have found the right partner with iNFOiSLIVE.”

Web Eng Korea, a twice national mobile content award winner, has developed many top ranking mobile game contents in Korea. The first mobile service launched through this partnership is character download service in Hong Kong. “Character download is the first step for our partnership. We hope to bring more advanced applications to the GSM markets through this strong partnership.” said Philip Yi, Vice President of Wek Eng Korea.
