Gameislive Corporation Limited, a wireless entertainment provider with headquarter in Hong Kong, announced today a new version of its one-stop turnkey community solution for mobile operators and portals, 5390 Community Platform, with new and enhanced functionalities for increasing customer loyalty, service penetration and ARPU (average revenue per user), among other benefits.

As an SMS/WAP/web cross-platform community solution, the major functionalities of 5390 Community Platform include:

- Instant Messenger: enables subscribers to communicate with one another instantly through SMS, web and WAP

- Chatroom: subscribers can freely participate in or create their own private and/or public chatrooms through SMS, web and WAP

- SMS Center: individual or group SMS sending and receiving, handy tools for composing ringtone, logo and greeting card which can be sent through SMS

- Message Board: discussion forums with different topics on web and WAP

- PIM (personal information management): mobile office on web/WAP/SMS, featuring email, calendar, organizer, name cards, bookmark and also WAP page composer

Other than the above readily available modules, further enhancements such as Game Mall, promotion engine, advertisement channels and customized applications can be built on the platform to maximize its performance.

With the different modules, 5390 makes community building enjoyable and encourages communication between subscribers. It is an effective tool to increase customer loyalty and raises service and brand stickiness. 5390 can be deployed on mobile operators, helping them to enlarge subscriber base, as well as to drive SMS and WAP services usage and thus ARPU. It also provides a better understanding on customer needs by capturing valuable data on subscriber behavior. "As the very first product of our company, 5390 evolves from a simple WAP Instant Messenger two years ago to nowadays an all-in-one community platform," said Kin Ko, CEO of Gameislive. "This is very exciting, reflecting our continuous hard work to adapt to the ever-changing market and customer needs."

From immediate, 5390 Community Platform is available for mobile operators worldwide. The platform can be purchased either with a one-off licensing model, in which the customer owns and have the option to re-brand it; or with an ASP model, in which Gameislive hosts and maintains the platform.
