Gameislive develops KJava games to broaden cross-platform product portfolio

Gameislive Corporation Limited, the wholly-owned subsidiary of iNFOiSLIVE, announces its development of KJava games to broaden its cross-platform product offerings.

KJava, or J2ME, is a special edition of the JAVA for mobile devices with limited computational power like mobile phones and PDAs. With KJava games added to the WAP/web/SMS/i-mode offerings already in place, Gameislive will be offering games in 5 different platforms.

Gameislive will launch 5 KJava games in the first batch, expected to launch in April this year. Two of them, namely Peaceful Dynasty and Monkey, are KJava/WAP/Web cross-platform enabled, which means players using different devices and platforms can play with one another interactively. This eventually brings them together into a wireless game community.

To realize the game community concept, the games offered by Gameislive will in general be available on multi-platform:

- DateU is a dating game using SMS platform, in which the players make friend with an artificial person, date him/her and win the game by marrying him/her. This game best utilizes Gameislive's sophisticated A.I. (artificial intelligence) technology.

- Circle, an interactive diary of a girl named Circle, is an i-mode/SMS/WAP/Web cross-platform game.

- Golf Championship, 3D Golf game developed in KJava and WAP.

"As a mobile entertainment service provider, Gameislive believes that end-users shall not be concerned about different standards and technologies but to enjoy their favorite games with best quality available," commented Chris Wong, CEO of Gameislive. "We have already developed over 30 wireless games based on Web, WAP, SMS, GPRS and i-mode. Developing KJava games puts us a further step towards our goal of building a universal game community. As soon as technology supports, we will further deploy our games on different platforms, fully utilizing the power of different technologies. Players will enjoy our games anytime, anywhere with anybody."
