Cathay Pacific and SHK online provide real-time alerts by MessageisLive

iNFOiSLIVE, the first and leading wireless ASP in Hong Kong, deployed its best-in-class wireless alerting system, MessageisLive, to Cathy Pacific and SHK online. The public is now able to maintain the most up-to-date information by short messages service (SMS) via their mobile phones.

With MessageisLive, Cathay Pacific Airline has launched their innovative 'notiFLY' service in mid October. notiFly sends alert messages about flight arrival and departure schedule to users, allowing them to manage their time accurately.

SHK online, a local financial portal, will also launch their SMS service using MessageisLive platform very soon. Their users will receive alert messages about transaction order information and stock price. Real-time financial information becomes available all the time.

MessageisLive is a wireless platform that allows individual companies to distribute timely information through mobile phone SMS to the public. It also saves the development cost and effort of SMS connections between individual companies and mobile operators. Individual companies can take a proactive role in the flow of information with MessageisLive, which is ideal for real time financial news, price alert, order confirmation and analyst recommendations, etc. The system now covers the mobile operators in Hong Kong (Hutchison, New World Mobility, Peoples and SmarTone), Macau and Taiwan. .AT 67 YEARS OLD AND HAVING BEEN A FLIGHT ATTENDANT FOR FIVE YEARS LONG AGO I HAD THE WORST FLIGHT ON CATHY PACIFIC.THE CHIEF PURSER SAID THINGS TO ME THAT WERE HUMILITATING,INSULTING AND EMBARRASING WITH ALL PASSENGERS AROUND.WHEN I COMPLAINED TO CATHY PACIFIC THE REPLY ADDRESSED NOTHING RELATIVE TO COMPLANT BUT SAID SOMETHING ABOUT PASSENGERS BEING "UNDER THE INFLUENCE". THAT WAS STRANGE SINCE I HAD HAD NOTHING TO DRING AND NO OTHER DRUG.THE PURSER HELD MY HAND AND STROKED MY ARM FROM SHOULDER DOWN AGAIN AND AGAIN.LATER WHEN I REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO THE CAPTAIN AFTER PASSENGERS LEFT, SHE DENIED SAYING SOME THINGS SHE HAD,REFUSED TO TELL ME WHAT TWO GROUND CREW HAD ALERTED HER TO SEPARATELY BEFORE MY BOARDING, (THAT I WAS NERVOUS,TENSE AND FIDIGETY) SHE HAD 20 HOURS TO PRESENT HER CASE TO THE CAPTAIN AND HIS FIRST COMMENT WAS THAT HE FELT SHE HANDLED IT APPROPRIETELY.NOT ONLY WAS MY COMPLAINT DISREGARDED I FELT THAT POSSIBLY THE PURSER MAY HAVE NEEDED SOME HELP AS SHE REPEATED HERSELF AD NAUSEUM, TALKED AND TALKED WITH SEEMING NO AWARENESS THAT OTHER PASSENGERS COULD HEAR THE PATRONIZING,ACCUSATORY AND UNTRUE THINDS SHE SAID.I RESPONDED CALMLY.AS I FELT SHE WAS LESS THAN STABLE.I'N NOT FOND OF HER PHYSICALLY TOUCHING AND STROKING ME.
